The Elements of the FITWORX Weight Loss Program
FITWORX isn’t your typical fitness club. It’s a full-service fitness and weight loss management program that can be customized to meet your individual needs. When you join our community, you’ll gain extensive support services to help you shed the pounds and keep them off for good. The four main elements of our weight loss program are strength training, cardiorespiratory exercise, flexibility, and weight loss management.
FITWORX FitCoaches work with each of our members three times per week. Your FitCoach will show you how to use each piece of strength training equipment. He or she will show you how to position your body properly to maximize results and prevent injuries. You’ll receive regular Fit Tests so your body is continually challenged to achieve greater goals. Your FitCoach will change your customized workout every 90 days to prevent weight loss plateaus.
The FITWORX fitness program includes 30 minutes of cardiorespiratory exercise on your strength training days, although you can visit one of our convenient locations any time to do extra cardio workouts. As with our strength training component, you’ll work with a FitCoach to learn how you can use interval training to optimize your caloric burn, strengthen your heart, and decrease your risk of chronic health problems.
Flexibility is a crucial, yet oft-overlooked component of physical wellness. Your FitCoach will guide you through your post-workout stretches to reduce muscle soreness and lengthen the muscles. Over time, you’re likely to notice that your enhanced flexibility aids you in everyday life, such as by giving you better balance and range of motion.
Weight Loss Management
Successful weight loss management requires more than a temporary stopgap solution; it needs a lifestyle overhaul. Your FITWORX FitCoach will help you develop a nutritional, well-balanced meal plan and work with you on healthy lifestyle choices. You’ll have weekly weigh-ins and monthly re-evaluations to hold you accountable to your fitness program.
