Strength Training

3x per week you will be guided through 12 selectorized strength machines by a FITWORX FitCoach . The Trainer will go over how to use each piece of equipment as well as your starting weights and positioning during your first strength session.

A “Fit Test” will be performed periodically throughout the program to adjust for an increase in strength that will be gained by adherence to the program. These workouts will be changed every 90 days to combat the adaptation process and keep your progress from being stalled.

Strength and muscular power are important in maintaining functional abilities to allow us to perform activities of daily living such as carrying groceries, getting out of a chair, taking out the trash, climbing stairs, etc. Weight training has shown to be beneficial to every age group, including seniors and even those with chronic illness.
